iPad 2 on Jailbroken iOS 5 Video Surfaces

MuscleNerd tweeted a while ago about a jailbroken iPhone 4S on iOS 5. The jailbreak is still in the preliminary stages which means a lot of effort is yet to come. We showed you screenshots of the process. Still, it`s a very good step forward.

A couple of weeks ago, jailbreak tool RedSn0w 0.9.9b5 was updated to tether jailbreak iOS 5 on iPhone 4, iPad 1, and iPod Touch 3G, but not on iPad 2 or iPhone 4S.

The news of a jailbroken iPhone 4S must have come as terrific news for iPhone 4S users out there who were waiting eagerly for such good news. We have no ETA so far as to a public release, but we are keeping our fingers crossed nonetheless.

Shortly after MuscleNerd, an iPhone hacker and a member of the Dev team, tweeted about the jailbroken iPhone 4S, the Dev Team released a video of iPad 2 jailbroken and running Cydia on iOS 5. Again folks, no deadline for the release but we could assume a jailbreak for all devices iPhone 4S as well as ipad 2 as well as older devices will be released at once.
