According to AppleInsider, Apple might be planning to update the MacBook Pro Line before this holiday season.

According to people with proven insight into Apple’s future product plans, the late-2011 MacBook Pro refresh will deliver marginal speed bumps to the notebooks’ Core i-Series of Sandy Bridge processors but will otherwise introduce no material changes over the existing models.

The update of the line is expected to happen at the end of this month, Maybe after Apple’s Back-to-School promotion that ends on September 20th.

It was noted that the new intel 2.4GHz, 2.5GHz and 2.7GHz quad-core Core i7 processors could be replacing the current 2.0GHz, 2.2GHz and 2.3GHz in the 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pros, And 2.8GHz dual-core Core i7 could be the one in the new 13-incher MacBook Pro.
