We have saw and used all the new feature that OS X Lion brought, But is Lion and Snow Leopard really that different when it comes to performance? Rich Brown, cnet editor made this comparison between Lion and Snow Leopard on a brand-new 27-inch iMac with a 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7. Check out the results after the jump.

From these results we can see that there is now dramatic difference between Lion and Snow Leopard. Lion is a bit slower in PhotoShop CS5 batch processing test. But it’s faster in iTunes encoding test thanks to the shift to 64-bit support.
