With each release of the iOS 7.1 beta, it has been a big question as to whether or not Apple has patched the untethered iOS 7 jailbreak. Although evasi0n7 does not work with iOS 7.1 beta 3, it has been confirmed by iH8sn0w that the exploits themselves remained unpatched. Since everyone seems super worried… Today’s iOS 7.1 beta 3 (11D5127c) does NOT patch evasi0n7. Another beta probably will though! — iH8sn0w (@iH8sn0w) January 7, 2014 It is unlikely that we will see the release of iOS 7.1 without the jailbreak being patched, but if there are any developers that enjoy being on the beta software and jailbroken, it is safe to update to the latest release of iOS 7.1. According to iH8sn0w, the exploits will likely be fixed in beta 4, so it’s now or never! We have not yet heard anything from any of the official members of the evad3rs, so if you want to be absolutely sure then it is recommended to hold off before updating.
