Here’s an interesting little device that I’m sure a lot of people don’t know exist. It’s the SwitchBot Smart Switch, and it’s a tiny, button-pushing robot. I don’t know the technical term for it (I want to say…actuator?), but it’s a small device you can place on any one-way button or switch, to control it remotely. Put it on a light switch, a coffee pot, garage door, or a pet food dispenser, and create timers/schedules, so you can set it and forget it. It’s even compatible with Apple HomeKit, and right now it’s only $21.
