Analyst: Next iPhone to be ‘True World Phone’, Feature New Form Factor, Slightly Larger Display & Support 4G LTE Networks

According to Sterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu, Apple’s next generation iPhone will be a “true world phone” offering both 3G and 4G compatibility. Apple calls iPhone 4S a world phone, but it does not support networks such as China Mobile’s proprietary TD-SCDMA 3G network.
In a new report, Wu claims that based on his checks with suppliers, Apple’s 6th generation iPhone will support China Mobile’s proprietary TD-SCDMA 3G network. China Mobile is the country’s largest mobile carrier with over 700 million subscribers.
