Google Fit Update Introduces Apple Watch-like Activity Rings

Google today announced a major revamp to its Fit application for Android and iPhone. The redesign does away with steps and puts more emphasis on activity rings to motivate one to meet their daily step goals and move regularly. The approach to put emphasis on activity rings is similar to what Apple already does with Apple Watch and watchOS.
