3D Touch is the flagship feature of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. It is capable of detecting the amount of pressure exerted on the screen and can perform actions based on how firmly you press. 3D Touch is mostly used to view quick shortcuts of of apps by performing a hard press on their icons. You can also do a soft press on a particular content such as mail to get a quick preview, also known as “Peekâ€, and hard press to open the selected mail, also called “Popâ€.
