
Back in February, Apple was hit with a class action lawsuit by law firm PCVA for bricking iPhones by displaying “Error 53” after installing a software update. The error start occurring with the release of iOS 9, and after it was covered widely by the media, Apple quickly acknowledged and rolled out the iOS 9.2.1 update to fix it.Â
