MCX members will have to pay steep fines if they accept Apple Pay

Undeterred by the lack of support from retailers like Rite Aid and CVS, Apple Pay has been a huge hit for the company. While these retailers initially accepted payment from Apple Pay, they decided to turn off support for it in their terminals soon after as they are a member of the MCX.
