Following a lengthy developer preview, Apple officially launched iOS 8 to the public on Wednesday, September 17. Ever since, several different sources have tracked the iOS 8 adoption rate, pinning it generally lower than the adoption rate of iOS 7. A new report furthers this reported trend, and yet points to record-setting numbers from a pair of brand new iPhones to off-set the software-only adoption.
