Apple granted patent for iconic Fifth Avenue glass cube retail store

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted Apple with a patent for the iconic design of its Fifth Avenue glass cube retail store in New York, eight years since the award-winning store first opened its doors. Apple originally filed for the patent in October 2012, crediting late co-founder Steve Jobs and a half dozen others as inventors.
