Apple Sold Nearly Twice as Many iPhones as Samsung sold Galaxy S Smartphones

Samsung’s Galaxy series of smartphones have seen a tremendous amount of sales lately, and have been, deservedly so, getting some good press for their achievements. Most recently, the Korean company revealed that they had, to date, sold a 100 million Galaxy S smartphones. But how does the iPhone compare to this figures?
Raymond James analyst Travis McCourt pulled up numbers for iPhone sales, and found that the iPhone still leads Samsung’s Galaxy S series of smartphones in sales numbers, and by a huge margin.
