A new study conducted by Energy efficiency company Opower found that on an average an iPhone 5 will consume approximately 3.5 kWh of electricity per year, amounting to a cost of only $0.41.
That’s less than half what you’d normally spend on an app, or a fraction of what you’d pay at your favorite coffee shop.
