The New York Times reports that Apple and Twitter held discussions regarding an investment in the social network for an amount in the “hundreds of millions” of dollars range.
The timeframe of the talks aren’t very clear, with NYT saying that they took place a few months back while The Wall Street Journal claims that they date back to more than a year ago. Both the reports agree, though, about the companies not being in any sort of talks presently.
