iOS 11.2.5
The biggest fix is a patch for the “chaiOS†bug that was discovered earlier this month. This particular bug was tied to iMessage, and, if a recipient received a specific link to a Github page, the Messages app would freeze for quite a long while, and, in some cases, even force the iOS device to respring completely. The iMessage bug also affects macOS High Sierra. The update to iOS 11.2.5 should fix the issue for both platforms.
iOS 11.2.5 is now available for owners of supported devices. To update, simply open the Settings App –> General — Software Update and then follow the onscreen instructions from there.
