The next generation iPhones are going to make way on September 10, but they aren’t the only iDevices to look forward to this year. Apple is also expected to launch the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 in October. We have already seen some leaks about the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 shells, and today we have a new video that shoes more details about them.

In the video, it is shown that how the iPad 5 will compare to iPad 4 and also shows its new form factor. There’s also detail shown about the difference in light sensors, buttons etc. between the two tablets.

Here’s the clip, which was posted by DetroitBorg (via 9to5Mac) this afternoon:

While we have already covered details mentioned in this video, such as the fact that the new iPad will come with a slim design, it has details on the light sensor positioning difference between iPad 5 and iPad 4 and the addition of individual volume buttons, which were not there on the iPad 4.

This shows that the new iPad is going to be tall and light, but when it comes to the internal features, only minor details have been reported such as the possibility of an A7X chip.

When it comes to iPad Mini 2, it looks pretty similar to iPad Mini 1, and there have been no evidence about the rumored Retina display.

The leaks indicate that Apple is speeding up production to make sure they’re ready for an October launch.
