Truecaller, a worldwide number lookup service, today updated its iPhone app to add live Caller ID functionality to it. The feature has been available on the Android version of the app since a few years now, but TrueCaller was been unable to bring it to iOS due to the various restrictions placed by Apple. For now, it remains unclear how the company has finally managed to bring this feature to iOS, since Apple does not provide any such APIs in iOS 9.
