iTV, the long-awaited TV which Apple has been working on for some time now trying to offer its customers the simplest yet the most revolutionized, completely re-designed TV that will easily sync with their iTunes, iCloud, iOS devices and Macs.

A month ago, we talked about an interesting quote in Steve Job`s biography, compiled by Walter Isaacson, in which Jobs said that “I`ve cracked the TV”.

“I’d like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use,” [Jobs told Isaacson]. “It would be seamlessly synced with all of your devices and with iCloud.” No longer would users have to fiddle with complex remotes for DVD players and cable channels. “It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. I finally cracked it.”

This came as promising news compared to what Jobs said at the D8 Conference last year in which he talked about some issues that complicated the realization of Steve`s concept.

Today, AppleInsider, a blog dedicated to covering Apple`s rumors, issued a report citing an analyst from global security and investment banking group Jefferies stating in a note that Apple is expected to partner with Sharp for TFT-LCD displays for its upcoming HDTV displays. The displays are expected to go into production in Feburary, to be ready for launch by mid-2012.

From AppleInsider:

Jefferies analyst Peter Misek said in a note to investors this week that Apple is expected to partner with Sharp for TFT-LCD panels for its so-called “iTV.” Production is expected to begin in February at the company’s Gen 10 Sakai facility in Osaka, Japan, placing the television set in position for a mid-2012 launch.

We`re looking forward to a completely redesigned,Jobs-style TV.
