Apple has officially released the 6th beta of iOS 11.4 to the iOS developers. If you’re a registered ioS developer and has a compatible iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch device, you can install the iOS 11.4 beta 6 as an OTA update. Hit the jump to learn more about iOS 11.4 latest beta.
Apple is all set to introduce AirPlay 2 feature that enables all Apple devices to be listed in the Home app again in the final version of iOS 11.4. Other than that, the update also brings Stereo speaker support for the HomePod – Apple’s smart speakers. The stereo speakers feature for HomePod is not yet working because it depends on an update for the HomePod firmware as well. If you want to try iOS 11.4 beta on your device, you can install it as an OTA update if your device is already running a beta version of iOS 11.4 or not. To install iOS 11.4 beta 6 as an over-the-air update, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Just make sure your device is enrolled in the Apple Developer program and have a beta profile properly setup.
