Something interesting came at the end of Bloomberg report, that Apple is working to finish a cheaper version of iPhone that would be targeted to developing countries which would use similar chips to what are included in current iPhohne 4 but it may be smaller in size.
According to International Business Times the next generation of iPhone (iPhone 4S / 5) will drop on September 7th and coming along for the ride with it will be iOS 5.
iPhone adherents will seethe with anger if their phone doesn’t tally up to the competitions’ range of Android OS-based phones as early as possible. Apple must have found it difficult to contend with the allegation that most of the rumored iPhone 5 features are already on Android OS-based devices.
About month ago, we posted according to DigiTimes that Next-generation of iPhone will be iPhone 4S not iPhone 5, No LTE capability (Long-Term Evolution: the latest standard in the mobile network technology tree), and its production will start by August.
Today BGR‘s reliable source inside Apple that the next-generation iPhone (iPhone 5 / 4S) will have a significant departure from the existing iPhone 4 form factor, bringing a “radical new case design” for the handset. Moreover, Apple may be preparing for an event by August to unviel iPhone 5 / 4S according to the source.
While Apple has indeed been giving some developers access to a device known as the iPhone 4S — an iPhone 4 with upgraded internals — BGR has independently confirmed that the next-generation iPhone will not merely be an upgraded iPhone 4 as had been previously rumored. We have been told by a reliable source to expect a radical new case design for the upcoming iPhone. We have not been given any additional details surrounding the design of the new iPhone case, though.
We are not sure of this as it’s not official so far. But we have to say that earlier rumors from another sources pointed to the same date. Anyway let’s wait and see.
